Short-term treatment with lisdexamfetamine dimesylate (LDX; Vyvanse) does not appear to contribute to any sleep disturbances in young children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), according to the results of a small pilot study. The authors write that, to the best of their knowledge, "this is the first randomized controlled trial to assess the effects of LDX on sleep characteristics in children with ADHD."
