Sept. 08--A Greeley woman faces 26 felony charges for allegations that she stole some family friends' credit cards and charged more than $1,000 on them. Cynthia Elkins, 33, has been charged with 25 counts of felony identify theft and one count of felony theft for using debit and credit cards belonging to William Bowers, 64, and Cynthia Bowers, 57. Elkins is due in court at 9 a.m. Sept. 22 for a formal advisement of the charges against her. William Bowers called police in June to report that his cards had been used fraudulently. He told police he and his wife were disabled and have several health problems. He said they kept their credit cards on …
