Sept. 06--So the Bisons have essentially wasted five more months with the New York Mets, as a 61-82 season mercifully ended Monday afternoon in rainy Moosic, Pa. The Mets have one more offseason to fix this mess. There's no way they'll be back in 2013 if the Bisons aren't in contention in 2012, the final year of their deal with New York. Regular readers know this corner believes the Bisons might be better off long-term with a different parent, perhaps the Toronto Blue Jays. Still, I'm not ready to write off the Mets completely. In fact, there are definite signs they could produce the kind of team Buffalo fans want and can stay. The 2012 season …
