Official says government, oil minister violated law on subsidies, not reporting.

Supreme Audit Court's technical and audit deputy head for economic and infrastructural affairs Abdollah Safa'inasab has said that the government has violated the law in using electricity subsidies for the targeted subsidies plan and making payments for the Physical Education Organization in the first three months of the Iranian calendar year, started 21 March 2011, Fars news agency reported on 4 September.

According to Fars, Safa'inasab added: "The government's act in withdrawing from the subsidies expenditure item which was considered for electricity and allocating it for the targeted subsidies plan is illegal."
