Ukraine to sign association accord with EU in December - senior MP.
Ukraine will sign an association agreement with the EU in December 2011, propresidential Party of Regions MP Leonid Kozhara, who oversees foreign relations matters in the party, said in an interview with the Ukrainian private 5 Kanal on 30 August.
"Poland's presidency in the EU is very important for Ukraine because there is no other country in the European Union like Poland, which knows the domestic situation in Ukraine and its peculiarities very well. This is why we want to take advantage of this chance. The free trade agreement with the EU is almost ready for signing.
