Aug. 31--The Superior High School girls cross country team has waited long enough. With four of their top five runners returning and a strong class of freshmen ready to contribute, the Spartan runners might never find a better chance to send a team to the WIAA state cross country meet. "It's time," said sophomore Kali Krivinchuk. The Spartan girls have never sent a team to the state cross country meet. Since 1979, only four girls have advanced as individuals, with current team member Leah Holmes doing so twice. "This is my third year running and Catie (Albrecht's) last year," said junior Natalie Kintop. "We've worked for this all these years, it's like, let's do it this year."
