Government to Resume Talks With Buganda, Says Ssekandi.

President Museveni has appointed his Vice President Edward Ssekandi to resume talks with the Mengo establishment, more than three years after the talks collapsed due to allegations of mistrust and suspicion from both sides.

While closing the second Buganda property fare at Mengo, the kingdom's seat on Friday, Mr Ssekandi said government was ready for fresh talks with Buganda Kingdom on all issues with a view to solving a long-standing disagreement over the return of Ebyaffe (Buganda's property).
