THE PALACE announced new appointments at the weekend to several agencies.

Presidential Spokesperson Abigail D. Valte said the two new members of the Energy Regulatory Commission are Alfredo J. Non, replacing Raul A. Tan, and Gloria Victoria C. Yap-Taruc, taking over the vacated position of Alejandro Z. Barin.

"[They have been appointed] for a term ending July 10, 2018," said Ms. Valte, in an interview aired over state-run dzRB.

She also confirmed the appointment of Louis Napoleon C. Casambre as the executive director of Information and Communications Technology Office (ICTO), with the rank of undersecretary.
