BRIEF: Ventura County Together aims to raise $50,000 to help needy.
Aug. 29--Ventura County residents can double their giving power this week to help provide food, shelter and medical care for the needy through a program of the nonprofit Ventura County Together. Donations made to Ventura County Together through Saturday will be matched 100 percent up to $50,000, thanks to the Amgen Foundation, Ventura County Community Foundation, First 5 Ventura County and United Way of Ventura County.
