BRIEF: Two arrested after missing pit bulls found in car trunk.

Aug. 29--Two men were arrested in Southwest Memphis early this morning after police found two missing pit bulls in the trunk of their car.
Officers responded to the 400 block of Delta Road shortly after 1 a.m. after receiving an anonymous tip that a man was burglarizing the residence and stealing dogs. Police located a suspect in a 2001 Cadillac DeVille nearby on Jonetta Street, where he and another man were detained. The missing dogs were found in the trunk of the car. One suspect told police that he had found the dogs running loose and was taking them home, according to a police affidavit.
