Aug. 26--Greeley firefighters this morning are fighting an early morning blaze atop the Leprino Foods Co., wastewater treatment facility that is under construction in east Greeley. Firefighters were called at 6:35 this morning to the fire at 1122 Ash Ave., in Greeley. The fire was out by 8:20 this morning, but the smoke continues to funnel from the building. Greeley Fire Chief Duane McDonald said this morning upon initial investigation, a spark from a person welding near a pile of roofing material ignited the blaze.
