Aug. 21--MARIANNA -- Steve DeWitt is mixing things up in Marianna.
The Bulldogs' head football coach, who is entering his third year at Marianna, is tweaking his Wing-T offense and installing a new 3-5 defense that better fits the personnel available to the program this year. DeWitt hopes the 3-5 alignment, which consists of three down linemen and five linebackers, will result in a noticeable improvement on that side of the ball. The Bulldogs surrendered 27 1/2 points a game last year and finished 3-7 overall and 0-3 in District 1-2B.
