Nashville's Hillbilly Casino spins roots music at Crooked I.

Aug. 18--Spin the wheel of music with Nic Roulette and it'll come up authentic every time.

He loves the real deal, music made by pioneers who lived and breathed it, whether they were 1950s originators, such as Johnny Cash and Chuck Berry, or early punk rockers, say the Ramones or Social Distortion.

He has no use for today's music.

"I'm a big hater of a lot of music," conceded Roulette, who brings his flame-throwing, roots-loving Hillbilly Casino from Nashville to Erie on Friday night at Crooked I. "Lot of negative energy. In fact, I had to get rid of cable. Whenever CMT would go by, my blood would boil."
