LOS ANGELES _ Ryan Howard has hit 25 home runs and driven in 91 runs in 116 games, but it is the 14 words he spoke after his most recent power display that should cause the rest of the National League to quake in its cleats.

"I would say that it is finally starting to come together a little bit," the first baseman said as he and his Phillies teammates prepared for a cross-country flight home after a 10-game road trip.
