Aug. 09--ST. LOUIS -- After leaving a seat on the bench in St. Charles County, Democratic lawyer Rex Burlison spent a decade working for Jay Nixon, first in the attorney general's office and then in his gubernatorial administration. Now, the governor has given Burlison another assignment -- sending him back to the bench. The governor's office announced Tuesday that Nixon has appointed Burlison to a vacant position on the Circuit Court bench, this time in St. Louis.
