Aug. 03--Demand for new cars and trucks in Hamilton County was up sharply in July over a year ago, figures show. New vehicle registrations rose 15 percent in July versus the same month in 2010 to 851 cars and trucks, according to the Hamilton County Clerk's Office. For the first seven months of the year, registrations are up 14.2 percent in the county compared with the same period a year ago. But compared to June, the number of vehicles titled in July was down 13.6 percent in Hamilton County.
