'Infrastructure banks' could help Utah roads.

Aug. 01--LAYTON -- As road funding becomes more and more scarce, the state of Utah is looking at new ways to help make the rubber meet the road. There are currently 13 Top of Utah projects, totalling nearly $76 million, on the Utah Department of Transportation's pavement rehabilitation project list that are unfunded. The projects include mostly road surface work on major highways in Weber, Davis, Morgan and Box Elder counties. Statewide, the unfunded pavement rehab projects on the list amount to $226.27 million.
