The investigation into the issue of limited mobility licences by Nepal's regulator continues. A sub-committee of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has told the Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA) to provide the names of the officials involved with the frequency allocation and the granting of the limited mobility licences along with other details of the decision making process. The sub-committee is also seeking the ownership structure and the company profile of six telecommunications companies and the NTA has been asked to provide details of the frequencies assigned and spectrum used by the companies, …
