Democratic Party president Norbert Mao yesterday downplayed a Court of Appeal ruling that threw out an appeal the party filed challenging a lower court ruling that declared the election of party secretary general, Mr Mathias Nsubuga, a nullity. "Had it been passed before the delegates' conference, it could have held some ingredients, but we got a court injunction and the action we took in Mbale made the appeal redundant," he said.
