July 27--PANAMA CITY -- The day before Michael Norman shot and killed two men who broke into his Southport home to steal drugs and money, he smoked marijuana and had sex with the man accused of orchestrating the deadly burglary, according to trial testimony.
Steven Lang is on trial for armed home invasion and murder, charged with the May 11, 2010, deaths of two of his alleged accomplices, Patrick Duffy and Devin Butler, who were killed by Norman. Lang faces the possibility of life in prison if he's convicted of second-degree murder under a law that allows for murder charges against suspects involved in certain crimes that result in death.
