July 27--OGDEN -- It wasn't a repeat of Monday's blowout loss, but it wasn't any easier for the Raptors to take.
Billings overcame an early deficit and held on to beat Ogden 8-7 Tuesday at Lindquist Field.
Down two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, Charlie Mirabal's grounder found its way through the middle to score Pratt Maynard and bring Ogden within 8-7. With runners on the corners with two out, Joc Pederson drilled a hard liner to center but Kurtis Muller tracked it down.
An inning later, Mustangs closer James Allen struck out the side to finish the Raptors.
