April 21--At long last, Major League Baseball has stepped in to seize control of the Los Angeles Dodgers -- a once-great franchise that Frank and Jamie McCourt looted.

Their ugly divorce proceeding exposed mind-boggling fiscal irresponsibility by the Dodgers owners.

Here is what sportswriters had to say about MLB's long overdue action:

Scott Miller, CBSSports.com: "It always was tough to tell which parts of Frank McCourt were downright stupid, dangerously delusional or impossibly arrogant. What he is now, essentially, is finished as Dodgers owner. You bet that's what this means.
