April 21--A 24-year-old Blasdell man remained in serious condition today after his friend slashed him in the neck and stomach Wednesday with a box cutter on Main Street near the Main Place Mall, Buffalo and transit police said. Hugh Hogan, 30, of Eden, was charged with first-degree assault for attacking Patrick D. Slisz, 24, during a dispute the two were having near the former AM&A's building in the 300 block of Main Street about 4 p.m. Blood from Slisz, who is at Erie County Medical Center, spattered across Metro Rail tracks and the sidewalk.
