The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to improve the identification capabilities of the US-VISIT biometric and biographic data repository and identity verification system. The US VISIT program is currently addressing its next-generation architecture and capabilities to ensure that it can accommodate the expected growth of populations and new applications of multimodal biometric identity screening.
