COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- A company building casinos in Columbus and Toledo wants local colleges to train blackjack dealers and slot-machine technicians for the gaming operations.

An increasing number of colleges nationwide are adopting casino-related training programs as more states legalize table-gaming.

In Ohio, Penn National Gaming Inc. has been talking with officials at Columbus State Community College, Franklin University and Central Ohio Technical College in Newark about creating programs to train workers the $400 million Hollywood Casino Columbus, The Columbus Dispatch reported.
