July 06--East Daviess County gets another shot at Warren County North in the 11-12 division of the Little League Baseball District 1 Tournament today at Kereiakes Park in Bowling Green. EDC, which defeated Ohio County 7-2 on Tuesday to finish 3-1 in pool play, is the No. 4 seed in the 11-12 tournament and meets WC North (4-0) at 5:30 p.m. The 7:30 semifinal features No. 2 seed Warren County South (4-0) vs. No. 3 seed Franklin-Simpson (3-1). "They're very, very good," EDC manager Jeff Johnson said of today's foe, which defeated East DC 7-1 in pool play. "They're solid and fundamentally sound in every respect.
