July 04--With a father who has never played a game of organized hockey and a mother who can barely stand to watch her son play because she thinks the sport is too violent, it's a wonder Kenny Tencza is so passionate about hockey. "It seems like it just kind of happened," Tencza said. "I really don't understand it. My dad has always wanted me to play baseball." Tencza, a center on the Buffalo Storm inline hockey team, is one of two local players ages 14-18 who will suit up for the United States at the 2011 FIRS Junior World Inline Hockey Championship.
