Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has received US Assistant Secretary of State for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) William Brownfield.

The meeting discussed issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and the USA in various fields.

The two paid a special attention to interaction in the fight against terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking and providing assistance for strengthening the protection of the Tajik-Afghan border.
