from THE JAKARTA POST -- THURSDAY, JUNE 30, 2011 JAKARTA: Jakarta administration says there are more applicants registering for state-run junior high schools than there are seats available.

"According to our records, more than 65,000 students have registered for places at city-run junior high schools, but we only have 61,411 places," Jakarta Education Agency chairman Taufik Yudi Mulyanto said Tuesday.
