Addis Ababa, 28 June (SUNA) - The Government of Sudan and Sudan People's Liberation Movement (North) Monday [27 June] signed a framework agreement in Addis Ababa on Political Partnership between the National Congress and Sudan People's Liberation Movement (North) and political and security arrangements in the Blue Nile and South Kurdufan States

Hereunder is the full text of the framework agreement signed by the two parties: Political Partnership between NCP and SPLMN and Political Security Arrangements in Blue Nile and Southern Kurdufan states Addis Ababa, 28 June 2011 The Government of South Sudan (GoS) and the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (North)(SPLMN), hereinafter "" the parties", consequent on the high level meetings between Dr Nafi Ali Nafi (GoS), Assistant to the President, GoS, and deputy chairman, of the National Congress Party and governor Malik Agar Eyre, , Blue Nile State, and chairperson, SPLMN, facilitated by the African union high level implementing panel in June 2011, have reached the following framework agreement, hereinafter the "Agreement" which shall complement their agreement on cessation of hostilities in southern Kurdufan, and which will guide the parties in their future negotiations and will pave the way for …
