June 29--The Erie Otters selected two forwards today in the Canadian Hockey League Import Draft. Erie used the 31st overall pick on Norwegian left wing Sondre Olden, from Modo Hockey of the Elitserien. Olden, 18, was a third-round draft choice of the National Hockey League's Toronto Maple Leafs in 2010. Erie traded with the Plymouth Whalers earlier today to acquire the 31st pick, giving up a seventh-round choice in the 2012 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection and a fifth-round pick in the 3014 OHL draft.
