If you sent mobile money to an unknown person following a request from a friend on Facebook, the famous social networking website, you could have been conned.

At least four people including Daily Monitor Education Editor Charles Mwanguhya and a New Vision reporter Barbara Among have been attacked by unknown hackers on Facebook.

Mr Mwanguhya encountered one of the conmen on Tuesday as he browsed through his Facebook profile on the internet. He received a message from the conman who hacked into Mr Steven Kibuuka's account and disguised himself as the account owner.
