June 27--BILOXI -- The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal won 31 awards, including top honors for its front page, column writers, special sections and general news photography in the Mississippi Press Association's annual Better Newspaper Contest. The awards for work published in 2010 were presented Saturday at the annual MPA convention in competition with the state's other large circulation daily newspapers.
