Dmitriy Medvedev congratulated RIA Novosti new agency on its 70th anniversary 23 June 2011
Dmitriy Medvedev visited the Russian Information Agency RIA Novosti on its 70th anniversary and congratulated the agency's staff on the anniversary.
Dmitriy Medvedev also issued a commendation to the agency's staff for its active efforts to provide information and analysis of Russia's domestic and foreign policy and to promote a favourable image of Russia abroad. Dmitriy Medvedev presented the commendation to RIA Novosti Editor-in-Chief Svetlana Mironyuk.
