June 20--QUESTION -- I own a Siamese cat, which is very friendly with people, and the cat is allowed to run loose during the day. Last week, the cat was missing, and I couldn't find him. Then, after a week, I got a call from a woman who said she'd taken him from our yard and took him to a vet for neutering. I told her I wanted the cat back, and she threatened to keep the cat unless I paid for her mileage and the neutering fee. I finally got my cat back without paying her and I found out she was with a group called Northern Colorado Friends of Ferals. How can they just take any cat and neuter it?
