from THE JAKARTA POST -- THURSDAY, JUNE 16, 2011 -- PAGE 13 Local administrations are not doing enough to support the development of industrial estates and attract investments at the local level, an industrial estate association says.

Indonesian Industrial Estate Association (HKI) chairman Hendra Lesmana said Wednesday that local administrations should promote the growth of investments at the local level by, among other things, building adequate infrastructure and providing various incentives.

"Local administrations should also ensure security so that investors are willing to invest in Indonesia," Hendra told a press briefing at an industrial estates seminar.
