Biotechcorp sets bigger goals for phase two.

Corporation (BiotechCorp), the lead agency for biotechnology industry in Malaysia, which has concluded its Phase One of development, has set even higher standards of achievements for Phase Two.

Datuk Iskandar Mizal Mahmood, CEO of BiotechCorp says that for Phase Two, the agency is targeting to get RM9 billion in investments, which is a 50% increase from the previous phase. It is also targeting a 150% increase in revenue to RM50 billion and 80,000 employment opportunities, which is a 100% increase. As for growth to the overall economy, it is looking at 4.5% contribution to the GDP
