Government has halted the recruitment of Agricultural, Advisory Service Providers and sub-county Naads coordinators, to allow for review of the programme.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries through the National Agriculture Advisory Services (Naads), said it will provide guidance on how these services and programme coordination will be undertaken after the review is completed.

"Under Naads, service providers and Naads coordinators are recruited on a contract basis, to advise and coordinate services at sub-county level. Government has, however, decided to review the provision of advisory services," Dr Mwalimu …
