The hearing of a petition against the election of Vice President Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi has been postponed to July 4 following an application by his lawyers to enable him to travel overseas.

"We have both agreed that the petition be adjourned untill that date but we shall be back in court on July 4 when he is expected to appear in the dock personally for cross-examination," said Mr Jude Mbabaali soon after leaving High Court in Masaka yesterday.

Mr Mbabaali is the petitioner in the case in which he alleges Mr Ssekandi bribed voters, used government vehicles during the campaigns, and indulged in a number of other electoral …
