Former Prime Minister Prof. Apolo Nsibambi wants parliamentary quorum lowered. Speaking at the weekend during a thanksgiving service in honour of his 12 years in government at Namirembe Cathedral, he said the quorum should be reduced to at least 20 per cent, to expedite business in the House, adding that the current 33 per cent delays passing of Bills.
