Poland wants Russia's "modernization" bid to succeed, says upper house speaker.

Warsaw, June 2: Poland is interested in a success of Russia's modernization programme, Speaker of Poland's upper house of parliament Bogdan Borusewicz told the 3rd Poland-Russia Forum of Regions which was held near Moscow on Thursday [2 June].
The forum discussed cooperation in advanced technologies and innovations. During his Russian visit Poland's Senate speaker was accompanied by representatives of 14 Polish regions, deputy Foreign Minister Jan Borkowski, deputy Interior Minister Tomasz Siemoniak and senators.
