Karak hauntings now on film.

THE local box office, which has been rejuvenated by two films -- Kongsi and Nur Kasih The Movie -- is expected to climb further with Karak: Laluan Puaka.

The horror film, produced by KRU Studios, is Yusry Abdul Halim's first effort in a horror genre.

Karak: Laluan Puaka opened last Thursday and its four-day box-office take will be known on Monday.

Two local films that opened before Karak: Laluan Puaka, Kongsi and Nur Kasih The Movie already made more than RM8 million and RM4 million at the box office respectively.

Both films are still playing in the cinemas.
