IN a true democracy, it is a well established rule and a vital principle of law that in protecting the very ideas that we love and cherish, we must also extend the same protection granted by the law to those ideas we hate and abhor.

That, in essence, is the meaning of the freedom of expression. However, this right or freedom is not unlimited. Every right is subject to a corresponding obligation and duty.

When someone abuses or uses the said right irresponsibly, placing the country in peril and jeopardy, the government must protect and defend the well-being of the public.
