Japan coach John Kirwan praised his team following its success in winning the HSBC Asian Five Nations, but reminded the Brave Blossoms there was still plenty of work to do in the buildup to the Rugby World Cup.

"We set two main goals at the beginning of this tour," the former All Black said following Saturday's 90-13 win over Sri Lanka.

"First, defending the championship title and second, remembering the March 11 tragedy and sending a sort of spiritual message to the people who are suffering from the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear issue in the Tohoku region. …
