GEORGE TOWN: The DAP-led state government has been accused of interfering in the duties of the Penang Island Municipal Council (MPPP), resulting in the local authority being unable to take action against the operator of a boutique hotel here that has allegedly flouted rules and regulations.

Parti Cinta Malaysia (PCM) central Youth director Liew Yeow Hooi said he had evidence in the form of voice and video recordings to back his claims.

He said the party would submit the compact disc to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) at 2.30pm tomorrow for investigations.
