The two major media events, both scheduled for the Friday-Monday period of April 29-May 2, will see multitudes of tourists and newsies converge on their respective locations--London and Rome--from all over the planet.
And while Prince William and Kate Middleton's marriage in Westminster Abbey will likely command more TV viewers globally than John Paul II's send-off toward sainthood in St. Peter's Basilica, a greater number of tourists is expected to attend the beatification, which is likely to be the biggest event in Rome since the charismatic pontiff's funeral.
