Sulawesi, April 28 (ANTARA) - The Philippine consulate general in Manado has so far not yet recognized the citizenship status of Reynanti, 33, a self-confessed Filipino who strayed into Indonesian waters off Tolitoli, a Central Sulawesi immigration official said.

"The fisherman still cannot be deported because his status is not clear," said Arman Andrian, head of the Central Sulawesi's Immigration office here on Thursday.

Reynanti strayed into Indonesian waters off Tolitoli after his fishing boat was damaged.
