New M&A rules by 5 May: CCI.

NEW DELHI, 29 APRIL: The government will notify the new rules for corporate mergers and acquisitions on 5 May, following which it will be mandatory for companies to seek the Competition Commission's approval for high-voltage deals, chairman Mr Dhanendra Kumar said today. By 3-4 May, the rules will be finalised and by 5 May, we will notify the same.
