MAKATI City engineers found hairline cracks but no major structural defect in the Atrium Building on Makati Avenue during an ocular inspection Thursday.

Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-Ibig Fund) employees claimed they felt tremors inside the 30-year-old building although no earthquake was reported in the area.

Nelson Morales, an engineer, and the city building official, said the cracks were visible in one girder on the sixth floor where the vibrations were felt.
