Dance vibrant and valuable to SA GREGORY Maqoma, founder, choreographer and artistic director of Vuyani Dance Theatre, hobbled towards me, one foot riddled with gout. He recently returned from an extensive tour with his work Southern Bound Comfort which saw him performing in Canada, the US, France and Italy. The tour took its toll and he is tired but, as always, obliging and happy to chat about Vuyani's future and his reworked Four Seasons (which wowed audiences at the KKNK this year) which has a brief outing at the Dance Factory in Newtown, Joburg, from May 5-8.
